Well, I have to tell you a secret, please keep it for you, I don't want the whole Web community (or whatsoever) to know about that.
Come closer, come closer.
Closer, okay, it's me, come closer.
Don't be afraid, I won't bite you. Come on, closer !
(i love the music Radiohead does).

Phew, it's okay, now, you can step back.

Well, as I told you before (I think I did, or at least I should have, but anyway), I have 15 Mo of Web space to fill here, plus all the Free Web Hosts I'll subscribe to. Gosh that amazes me. Okay, so, because of that, I'm gonna write a lot of things in here. And I'll begin my Music page with Radiohead. Then maybe I'll tell about the few others I like, such as Björk, Blur, Massive Attack, j'en passe et des meilleurs. Mais bon, alonzi alonzo.

Time travelling. We are one year ago (that is, if for you roday is also in mid-June of '98). Little Xavier gets his very first CD player in his very personnal bedroom, at the age of 21. Wow. "I gotta buy a few CDs, then, I guess". So Tiny Xavier goes to the record shop to buy a couple of CDs, and even subscribes to Mail CD Seller. Big step in life Xavier just did here. Still, he isn't really much into music by the time (although he is a big music fan, he never owned CDs before. It true !). July comes. Xavier hears/sees Radiohead's "Paranoid Android" on MCM, the french MTV. Shocked but the bare boobs in this video, he therefore prefers to watch the edited version on MTV (ok, I'm just kidding here). Amazed by the epic song, he remembers...

Time travelling. We are back at the time Rh's "Creep" is a huge success. As anyone else, Xavier knows the chorus by heart : "I'm a grip, I'm a window, Wharzazath do in hear, I don't belove you" (I'm so funny sometimes). Xavier likes it, but doesn't buy the CD, not even the single.

Time travelling (again, yes). Wer are now when Rh's "The Bends" album is out. Xavier sees a lot of videos on MTV/MCM : "Street Spirit", "Just", "High&Dry", "Fake Plastic Trees". He thinks "Wow, I know this strange-eyed guy !". Still doesn't buy the record, as Xavier doesn't know what records are by the time. But he does buy the Creep single (which also includes the song "The Bends") issue for the movie "Cyclo". Kewl headbangin' dude.

Time traveling (not bored yet ?). We are back at the Paranoid Android video time. Xavier likes it. Xavier loves it. Xavier wants it. It's too much pressure for him, he HAS to buy this specific record. Out to the big city, out for the Big Record Store (la FNAC des Ternes, pour les grenouilles qui me lisent), listens to the CD there, and also a few other songs. The other songs do not matter, he wants Paranoid Android. Big money, record owned. For 2 hours, only PAndroid existed on this record. He listen to the other songs. SHA, cool one. Exit Music (for a film), just amazing (gotta see this movie). Let Down, beautiful. Fitter Happier, strange, loves the text, matches perfectly my idea of this society (err...). Electioneering, big noise ahead, great ! Climbing Up The Walls, gosh, this song scares me, it's huge ! No surprises, what a peaceful one, I love it ! Lucky, hey, I know this one, where did I hear it ? Anyway, great one ! The Tourist, the perfect record ending song ! As you can see, for a few weeks, I did hardly know what Airbag, track #1, sounded like, as I always started at PAndroid, track #2. What a mistake.

Anyway, as you can guess, being one of my first bought records ever, OK Computer did move me a lot. It is THE record (and I say this on behalf of me, myself and I). I had to know more. I therefore bought The Bends, their second album. God, I already heard some of these songs, which made me love it, just like when my brother bought the two Queen Best-Ofs : "It's them who play these songs !? Whoa, I didn't knew that, all this songs I knew for so long, right here, great !". The Bends, good one.

I still had to know more. I bought their very first LP, Pablo Honey ("Hey, Creep's inside !"). Some crappy songs, but all in all I still listen to it quite a lot.

I still had to know more. So I bought a few singles, I bought their 7 Television Commercials video, I taped one of their concerts on TV, I collected MP3s, I bought a few EPs, I learnt many of their songs on my guitar...

...and I still have to know more. I don't know of a cure. I don't think I'm a maniac to Radiohead, since I didn't only bought Radiohead stuffs since July 98 (I bought around 40 records by the time), but Radiohead is the one band I...erm... "love to like".

Be relieved, I'm seeing a shrink.
